Javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra, who made history on August 7, 2021 by winning India's first-ever gold medal in athletics at the Tokyo Olympics, was born on December 24, 1997, to a family of farmers from Khandra village near Panipat in Haryana. His achievement in the Olympics saw him become a household name and since then the Indian athlete has become an inspiration to many young athletes. Since his Olympic gold, Chopra has been seen in various events, advertisements, etc., he recently visited schools in Sanskardham on, where he interacted with students, teaching them the importance of fitness. He was also seen practicing archery with them. Chopra seemed to have enjoyed playing archery and appeared to be pretty good at it. He was also seen teaching kids how to throw a javelin and explaining to them the importance of a balanced diet.
